To be fair, someone on that thread did say to him to post it here. Probably would have been better if the OP asked a MOD to move it here instead of creating a new one.

However if theres one thing I hate, its people who register just so they can come on and get some free xbox live off people on this site without actually contributing anything. Once they get what they want, you'll neve hear from them again. Happen before and in my opinion goes against the HUKD community

It is yes. but the freebies generally come from users who give them to other users who feel they have 'desereved' it

I agree with nacider , you can't just sign up to the site to get free things of other people give and take
