its not isofix but it is a good seat..providing it fits your car.

WIKI - Isofix is an international standard for attachment points for child safety seats in cars. The system is known as LATCH ("Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children") in the United States and LUAS ("Lower Universal Anchorage System") or Canfix in Canada.[1] It has also been called the "Universal Child Safety Seat System" or UCSSS.

Isofix is International Organisation for Standardisation standard ISO 13216, which specifies the anchoring system for Group 1 child safety seats. It defines standard attachment points to be manufactured into cars, enabling compliant child safety seats to be quickly and safely secured. Isofix is an alternative to securing the seat with seat belts. Seats are secured with a single attachment at the top (top tether) and two attachments at the base of each side of the seat. The full set of anchor points for this system were required in new cars in the United States starting in September 2002.

In Europe the system is known as Isofix and covers both Group 0/0+ and Group 1 child safety seats. There are also various installation categories: "universal", "vehicle-specific" and "semi-universal". The main difference being that "Universal" represents use of a top tether strap with the Isofix anchorage, "vehicle-specific" represents the usage of the Isofix anchorage without the TopTether in specified vehicles only, while "Semi-Universal" represents usage of the Isofix anchorage together with a "foot-prop".

Isofix is a system of steel loops built into the chasis of the car seat and hooks on the child seat which link up with these. It is safer that using seatbelts as it's MUCH harder to do it wrong and is a more physical connection.

I believe all cars have had to have isofix as a 0 cost option for a number of years now, but isofix seats aer normally twice the price of those which are fitted using a seatbelt...

And no, this one isn't isofix. (They tend to include the word fix in the model name if it uses that system)

its a great deal....i bought maxicosi for 119 at halfords...it normally retailsabove £140 everywhere. .but was confused with this graco at that time. it is spacious. But i think Maxicosi is the best.its spacious, well padded, there is side support and is well securely fixed. Go for maxi cosi for group 1 if you r looking for one. It is great and you will never be disappointed. And graco carseat for group 0 car seat is a nasty one. Its less spacious and my son couldnt use it after 8-9 months. it is meant for 0-13 kgs, but my son was 9 kgs at that time and still he dint fit there!!!Hope this info helps someone.
