I got one of these from halfcost earlier this year too. Couldn't iron a tissue.
Absolute rubbish and a total waste of money - even at £1 !!!

You have to be really discerning with halfcost - some stuff is excellent (bought cheap towels, branded clothing, even a Bush mini hifi really cheaply), but a lot of their stuff is really really dire and my last order took nearly 5 weeks to arrive!, so I'm giving them a wide birth from now on!!
