Xbox And Tv Differences Help Needed

POSTED BY: scotland88 1 month, 1 week ago

Ok so the parents are away to Florida for two weeks and i have the house ALL TO MYSELF

decided that i would move my 360 downstairs onto the living room tv as i thought it would have a better pic

well in my room i have a 19" Onn hdtv and games like cod and halo look fantastic on it.....

i took it downstairs onto the 40" panasonic hdtv and the picture qualtiy is ever better

but their seems to be some sort of calibration problem
is this normal when switching tvs ???

any help would be great thanks

VGA, HDMI, Component? I doubt it'd be Composite and you've ruled out Scart .

How many cables did you connect and did they all look the same besides the colour?

The HDMI cable is a single cable... so if you connected more than one it's not the HDMI cable

OK right, that is the compnent cable.
Have you gone into the 360 dashboard, and set it up from there?

ok, well go into the dash, and go to the 'system' blade.
then select 'console settings'.
then 'display'
then you can select out of the HD formats and see which one is the best, also you can change from pal-50 to pal-60.

I know this sounds like a bit of hassle, but it really will only take around 2 or 3 minutes to do...just pick the picture that looks the best to you.

You've said you think you've got a calibration problem but you haven't actually described what the problem is you're seeing? You've also ommitted the specification of the TV as well, is it 1080p?
