This offer is not true, i am an employee of thornton's and this website has caused nothing but problems, we are currently handing out vouchers for £1 off of ice creams, if you have a voucher you are entitled to claim £1 off your next ice cream but the offer ends next week, it means a single scoop for £2 is only £1 with a voucher a double is £1.50 instead of £2.50 and a triple scoop is £2.00 instead of £3.00. Please do not go into your local store and be mean to the shop staff because someone here has misinterpreted a promotion.

Also the ice creams are no more expensive, in fact they are are cheaper at full price than; Ben & Jerry's, Hagen Daaz, Baskin Robins (ie other premium ice creams ). They are slightly more expensive than a 'whippy' ice cream this is because of the high quality of ingredients used as well as the fact that whippy ice creams are over 70% air, so actually you get what you pay for ......

Actually, I had missed this post, but I went into Thorntons at Royal Quays, North Shields yesterday and my daughter was going to use her voucher, but was told to save the voucher, as all ice creams were buy one, get one free, any size or flavour.
I wasn't going to have one but end3ed up with a delicious mint choc chip in a chocolate topped cone with a twix type thing stuck in the top - daughter had the same - total cost £2-50.
The BOGOF IS on and when we went outside to eat it there was a sign in the window as well.
May not be every branch but it's definitely on at some, so well worth asking.
And these in no way compare to the cack from Iceland etc etc - they are delicious...:thumbsup:
