Not sure what's happened with Crocs over the years. I bought my first 'classic clog' pair from Sports Direct (in the days when they regularly sold them cheap). They were softer, more pliable and bouncier then.
Nowadays they seem more rigid, harder - I've got two more current Crocs: a pair of the flip flops with the toe post (which I found I can't tolerate between my toes) and the slider sandal. Both aren't as cushiony as they used to be. I just wear the slider sandal in the garden or going in and out of the shower.
The Chung Shi Dux clogs I wear as slippers around the house.
I have to steal boyf's pair to (hand) wash them as he never seems to wash his (don't put yours in the dishwasher, washing machine or in hot sun - they'll warp).
Chung Shi also manufacture shoes (think along the lines of Skechers) - I bought boyf Chung Shi Sensomo (a leather wingtip pair of shoes with foot-friendly qualities) and he said he'd never wear them. I thought they looked great, was reluctant to return them.
Chung Shi do run a size small or so, for us in the UK, though. (edited)
I've added the Sold By Amazon at £15 separate links for these Crocs because 1) People find Amazon hard to navigate so I was trying to make it easier and 2) There's an Amazon Warehouse 10% off promo on just now and summer is coming, so I added more sandal options 3) I have opinions about Crocs!
If I hardly added information or didn't reply to people, no doubt someone would complain, so it's all subjective. Maybe. And some chatter on HUKD is quite enjoyable (as long as it's not bickering)? (edited)
