Bit of a bargain at 45% discount off the RRP. Titanium 41.6mm case.

The Case:The Seiko Conceptual SSB393P1 is housed in a 41.6mm diameter case that is crafted out of titanium – a material which has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all known metals. The case has been treated to a super-hard coating, which offers greater resistance to scratching. It features a push/pull crown at 3 o’clock and two push-buttons located at 2 and 4 o’clock that allow the wearer to interact with the sub-dials. Curved hardlex crystal glass provides the watch with protection against scratches and shattering. The case is secured by a solid caseback that is etched with the Seiko logo.

The Dial:The black dial showcases a carbon-fibre style pattern, evoking a sleek and sporty feel. This is accentuated by the chronograph layout – meaning it features additional dial complications that can be used to measure and displays elapsed time, that can assist in timing events or intervals. It consists of three sub-dials at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock that exhibit a 60-second display, a 12-hour display and a 60-minute display. The dial is also equipped with a tachymeter that is located around the chapter ring. It also features baton-style hour markers and a dauphine-style handset that has been filled with a luminous material. A date-display window is nestled in-between the 4 and 5 o’clock markers.

The Strap:The watch is presented on a black silicone strap, which offers high durability and good resistance to tearing. It fastens through the use of a pin buckle clasp.

The Functions:The Seiko Conceptual SSB385P1 is powered by a Seiko-made Japanese 8T67 quartz calibre movement that has a battery life of 36 months and an accuracy rating of +/-15 seconds per month. It is water resistant up to 100 metres, which means that it is possible to swim or snorkel with the watch on, but it is not appropriate for diving.

    Looks lovely OP. Heat.

Would be tempted if it wasn't for the fact that I'm a sucker for a smooth sweeping auto on a chrono ... the tick tock jagged moving of the seconds hand on a quartz chrono just doesn't feel right to me. I am Speedie guy after all.

But I love Seiko and this looks gorgeous. Love the black silicon strap, gun metal look, and big gnarly buttons. If it was 39-40mm and around £160 I might have bitten. (edited)

Looks really nice. Unfortunayely I'm saving my pocket money for a PC, so have to resist. Keep your eyes on the prize.
