Not a bad price for those who want to 'own' the game, but this is one of the few occasions that I'd probably just recommend getting a month of Game Pass, since it's likely to be less than 10 hours long and very linear.

Agreed. Unless you're putting into a pile of shame to play in >1 year, in which case, I'd wait for sales! Gamepass day one is hard to beat for this one.

Just in case anybody is misunderstanding the PS5 comments on here, this game is a Microsoft AAA First Party title exclusive to Xbox consoles and PC it is Not a Timed exclusive.

I can understand people who would also like it on the PS5 as there hasn't been one full AAA First Party exclusive on the PS5 since 2023 (that was the only AAA First party title for the whole of 2023) and the next one isn't due until about 2025, what's worse is Square Enix the makers of Final Fantasy has just announced all its games going forward are going to be Multiformat so Sony can no longer pay them for Final Fantasy to be exclusive to their platform.

The good news is Xbox/PC has at least 4 AAA First Party exclusives releasing this year from Microsoft. (edited)

the next one isn't due until April 2025

That's not what Sony said, they said "there will be no new entries from established IP until April 2025"...

Will wait for the inevitable PS5 version. They'll have likely patched in a performance mode by then too.

Sell the ps5 and just get a pc, consoles are outdated and no worries about performance made

From top comment, presumably an Xbox owner.

This is why Xbox has gone multiplatform and has closed studios. Game pass day one is such a bad idea sales wise.

Goodbye Ninja Theory, you were a good studio but expect P45s from Microsoft's HR department soon.

Hopefully this delivers on Microsoft's "Expectations", I would be miffed if they shut down Ninja Theory, they have made some great titles

Then maybe it shouldn't take them 7 years to make a sequel to a game.... Whole studio working on this for 7 years. It's 10-15 hours max of actual gameplay. Has no excuse for this. Same as Spiderman 2 costing 250m lol. Then people are surprised studios get shutdown? Game developers are the slowest and highest paid worked ever it seems. A council committee gets more done lol

Hope it's not as boring as the first one.
