huh, interesting, i bought a couple of items from this brand and it has been very good. However 8k/5k is mainly for skiing, not really snowboarding.

As a skiier+boarder I'd back this up. Snowboarding is lots more time sat/knelt down to set bindings or wait for buddies to catch up. If you don't want a wet backside/knees you'll need more than 8k.
With skiing you're rarely in prolonged contact with the snow so I'd be happy with anything over 5k is unless it's raining/sleeting

I bought some of these last time they were on here for basically walking the dog as a cheap pair of waterproof pants. they are good and very warm but the one issue was how wide they are at the bottom (obviously to fit snowboarding boots),
to overcome this I folded them and sewed them in place into more of a tapered shape. it doesn't look neat but it does the job. Just something for people to be aware of in-case they were planning on using them for a similar reason

Looking for a ski type jumpsuit but for warmth during the next winter (indoors) as still at war with the energy companies and not planning on switching the gas back on until December, some on aliexpress but not enough reviews to take a risk yet.

I'd pick another battle. There's only 1 winner in your war and it's not you.

How's the sizing? Does the XS=30 match up?
Snowboarding, but don't spend much time on the floor (intentionally, at least.)
    cheekster's avatar
Based on size Small being 32 inch and I’d say pretty much true to size yes XS should be 30 inch waist.

Can you get these on 4k

Any good for cycling/commuting in the winter?

I'd guess too baggy at the bottom as they're designed to fit boots underneath

I bought a pair of these a few years ago, the quality is poor. If you want a basic pair, fine but dont expect much, its old stock they struggled to sell for years.

Was similar price in season. I found them very practical and well made.

My only mistake was going for Orange, thought it would help to stand out on the slopes so group members can identify me easily. Little did I know that 50% of skiers on the mountain would have exactly the same colour scheme black top / orange bottom. Going yellow next time.

Yellow in front, brown in the back

My Navy pair arrived today. Excellent quality at a bargain basement price. Easily worth five times as much imo.

Shame they had already sold out of Black as I quite fancy a second pair for a tenner before they completely sell out.

    Highly recommended. (edited)
