The foundation was launched by the parents of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse – a teenager who died aged 15 after eating a shop-bought baguette containing hidden sesame seeds not listed in the ingredients, to which she was allergic. The charity aims to keep people with food allergies safe. It also promotes Natasha’s Law, requiring retailers to provide full ingredient lists and allergen labels on pre-packed foods.
