I've had 3 Gel Kayanos...there is nothing quite like those for overpronation widely accepted as best in class if you don't want Plantar Facilitis. GTs are good for overpronation but not quite as tech packed as the Kayanos.

Styles do vary sometimes they look the muts sometimes they've tried too hard to look some sort of cartoony!

Cheers for the info. I actually do overpronate so will have a peek at the Kayanos. Always on look out for new and comfortable shoes, trainers, etc. One of my rule of thumbs for shoes is "do my feet feel amazing in these"

Yep I could hardly walk having got back into running having stopped about my A levels time and I'm now in my 30s...made the mistake of running in normal 'dress' trainers....so I read up and got a barely used pair of Kayanos 2nd hand...when I put them on...still suffering...oh my lord it was like walking on a cool air cushion I can not do them justice.

These are my latest pair...as for looks they aren't going to be beating the ZX 750s but you have to bake into the equasion these are meant to be for running - the protection only has a lifespan of something like 1000 miles I think...they are still wearable after that and runnable but you do risk then still getting problems unless you get a new pair of running shoes...but that is the same for all running shoes. Any bit of wearage for just around town walking is going to wear down the mileage but on the other hand whenever i fly to get my son who lives in Sweden I make sure I'm in Kayanos to endure the hanging around airports etc...!

With navy being my favourite colour and the older I get the better I like a splash of colour I'd say they are quite fetching!!

I used to run on Nike structure now react infinity, and after 3 months and 500 miles less issues so worth a go

Contrary to that, I had to fight to get my money for the things I ordered but never received. I certainly won't be buying from them again.

People have different experiences of all retailers..I am sorry to hear of course that you had bad one or ones but yep based on my experience I will be (and have) buying repeatedly from them. In fact one pair I had already worn found to be too small and had the soles scratched...they still accepted them as a return and refunded the money.

A lot of people have had terrible experiences not just me. Hence why in my original post, I have warned others to read reviews.

My current Kayano's need upgrading but their current colours really put me off.

All the proper running shoes are only 25% off, ie still crazy expensive.

More stock and colours available in the outlet of Kayano 25s - discount codes out and about there in the ether work on both sites official current season shop and the outlet store.

There are ways of getting the price down further still but you have to get to them by your own detective work...I'm only allowed to post discount codes from well renouned sources and rightly so...

I used to be an asics fan for years however I believe other brands have over taken. One thing I will say; I could definitely get more miles out of asics (and mizuno) than others.
And when the Nike infinity react cost 140 and only last 2 to 3 months running becomes expensive. (edited)
