Christmas movies channel has been going for the last month or so on Virgin Media, at least.

Lethal Weapon was on the other day. Another fine Xmas movie.

Be aware both Amazon Rentals AND purchases have content expiry times on their offline DRM licenses.
The precise length varies by title, but it's often very short; 30 days from initial download. After this time the app needs to phone home to refresh the licence.

Also you're limited to downloading to a maximum of 4 devices.

DRM has become so incredibly anti-customer. Don't tolerate it, don't give Amazon your money! (edited)
