I’ve joined twice with the Groupon/Wowcher deals over the years. If you rejoin you should count as new customer. Not once when I’ve rejoined have they said you have an inactive membership can we use your old details

What evidence is required to show when getting a spouse/partner card?

My mum is a nurse and I want her second card

You don’t have to be “life partners” from what I remember just need to live in the same household, so simply saying you live in the same house would be enough. But from my experience, they do not ask - you just get to the CS desk and ask to make a 2nd card and that’s it.

I'm not sure if this works in conjunction last time I signed up they said if you don't make enough cashback with executive they will put me down to standard and refund the difference. It's worth asking when signing up.

That’s good if that’s the case as in my experience you need to spend a lot with Executive membership to make the enough cash back money back.

Executive membership IMO is best for those  that live close to a Costco, so can go more often to rack up the spend.

I tried it but it was not really worth paying extra for Executive membership to try to get cash back.

Shame it’s for new members only. I had a Costco membership 3 or 4 years ago. Ah well

    You are right, you
dont get the vouchers if you have had membership before, shame! (edited)

Hi everyone, just a PSA if you sign up online. We were told by Costco Chingford yesterday it was warehouse only and we could not get these vouchers as we had signed up online.

We looked at the T&Cs and it only mentions “activated” in warehouse as a requirement. I thought that when we get our cards in warehouse that was activating our membership but according to them it’s not.

The wording should have been changed to “sign ups in warehouse only”. Oh well.

Unfortunately the world moves forward. Price wise things were always better before.

I have a membership and my husband has an additional card. He’s never had his own membership. Would he qualify as a new member?

Yeh annoying timing as I was waiting around for a BLC offer having done the same last year but after a month of waiting I just renewed last week 😔 and missed out on this bonus.
  11. Shaun_Newman's avatar
Can I do this if I renew my membership?
    Bonedome123's avatar
T and Cs say no, for new members only and not for food who have been members before and I’ve expired membership.

Could you just use a different email address?

Is the executive membership worth getting?
    Nexy's avatar
If you shop there a lot, or often do high value shops (like a lot of expensive items) or have some expensive purchases to be made in the next year (like TV's, laptops etc) then probably.
  14. Fareed_Patel5N5's avatar
How much is it normally for a 12 month membership?

Me any my mate signed up donkeysbago on the executive card. We made the best part of 60 quid this year after we paid for the membership.

Well worth it if yer gonna actually use it

Is there anyway I can become a Costco member? I don’t work in any of the eligible criteria or own a business nor does anyone in the household.

I went to Costco in Manchester for the first time today. Honestly, I don't see what the fuss is all about. The store was just a poorly presented metal shed, it was almost impossible to park, the queue for petrol was about 100 cars long. The range of goods was so random, and the quality and range of food didn't look great to me. The prices to my eye, looked to be more expensive than Aldi or Asda next door.

Is there anyway for me to get a Costco card I don’t own a business or work in the eligible criteria

I'll never but from costco again. Support is very poor, delivery date nor reliable, lies over phone and emails. NEVER EVER

There is an offer for executive too. Is it worth the extra cost?
You also get a complimentary card with both
