If you're within striking distance of Bicester it'll be worth contacting 'Hour Passion' (Swatch Group outlet store) if they have the HC their price will almost certainly beat this. I picked up the Conquest 39* there for £866 a few weeks back.

*Basically the same watch without the dive bezel

Just checked out the Hour Passion website. Longines marketing sort of messed up the 'elegance' bit with a shot of this fella's arse.

Lovely watch but that lack of a three really upsets me. Superb price

Agree on that; prefer the more symmetrical dial on my conquest

Nice watch. I was going to push the button and buy until I noticed it’s showing the wrong time… it’s only 9.30am and I’m not spending over a grand on something that has clearly gained over half an hour

Maybe try again at 10.08 on the 23rd? (edited)

Heat added. I have this on the 43mm bought a few years back circa £900 when on sale. It’s a nice watch and accurate for something that’s none cosc with its 72 hour movement. What lets it down is the metal strap which has a number of sharp edges to it so I have mine on the rubber which transforms it.

Totally agree about the strap. I have an earlier version too and the bracelet lets it down with how sharp it is. I've actually cut my finger on it before. I'm not sure if they've changed it at all in the later versions, but aside from that it's a beautiful watch. Stuck mine on a stingray strap which looks fantastic.
