Frustratingly security updates only until the end of 2025 (that's according to Motorola's own website).

Apparently Motorola promise one Android update but as the phone comes Android 13, that means you won't even get Android 15, just Android 14. Perhaps not deal breakers at the price, just frustrating.

No 4K with the cameras, but you wouldn't expect it at the price, but unless you expect the nth degree of sharply resolved details, the cameras are ok for the price, from the samples I looked at, some are even pleasing. The screen not great, no AMOLED, here, but again, I think fine for the price. I think if you only intend to use the phone for a year to eighteen months and aren't a power user, like Motorola's more or less stock Android experience, it's a good deal - it even has that increasingly elusive headphone jack!

You should get Android 14 straight away, mine updated a couple of days ago. Agree it's frustrating that's the one and only update

Heat added. Decent price for a great midrange phone which comes with flagship level of ram and storage. For the majority of users this will be good enough.

I don't know why updates are so slow and few on Motorola?

Because they release so many phones it's hard to update them all. (edited)

Was £109 a while back with JL. Haven’t seen it that cheap since.

Current price with voucher is better than the £139 I paid from Amazon (though I am paying in 5 monthly payments). Was tempted to cancel and return (not for the £4.01 difference as too much hassle) but because JL offer a 2 year guarantee whilst Amazon is only 1 year.
    Heat added for the price.

Comments about this phone on here and other threads are mixed. I guess it depends on what you want from a phone/intended usage. You gets what you pay for usually imo. (edited)
