    What are people doing to their controllers that they feel the need top buy a protective case!!?

    My nephew learnt the hard way, if you throw your controller in a tantrum and break it, you can't play on your console until you can save up for another one.

    I can't even see how this case offers much in the way of protection to any of the buttons or sticks (the bits that break).

    Was gonna say this was useless and goofy, but I guess it could come in handy when I throw my controller at the wall playing Shadow of the Erdtree

    For me - this is a benefit on two fronts. 1. Throwing controller in backpack with my steamdeck. 2. Sweat - longer gaming the normal plastic does create a lot of sweat and hope this mitigates!
