I know this seems to be a lot more for your money than the Samsung A34 but is it? I've had quite a few Xiaomi phones over the years and their UI still irritates me after all this time. I would like to move away but this Poco seems like a great deal. I can get an A34 for £180

You must remove the junk using ADB. loads of tutorials on YouTube. Then use your own launcher and it fly's

What’s the external speaker like on these? (Coming from iPhone 11 Pro)

Just in case anyone else encounters the above problem with PayPal... maybe not everyone is as dense as me though on PayPal screen, scroll down to the bottom of the page, then click on the flag tab. Scroll through flags, and find the Union Jack and click on it. You will then be taken to PayPal UK.

I wonder if this is a step backwards from a Redmi Note 12 Pro. Like the chap above I just smashed the screen but don't really want to be going backwards spec wise
    Cremoso99's avatar
Camera is a downgrade, pretty sure the Sony IMX766 sensor on the 12 Pro is better than the OmniVision one on this phone. (edited)

Isn't it better to pay a little more and the pro version? POCO X6 Pro 5G Global 12GB RAM and 512GB?

    villageidiotdan's avatar
Yes but that's quite a bit more (1/3rd more expensive), and you're buying from Aliexpress which people may not be comfortable with. Customs shouldn't be an issue as they value it below the £135 but there do seem to be reports of customs charges being applied recently.

Looking to move on from my 4-year-old Redmi Note 9 Pro (and Redmi Note 5 Pro before it). Mainly for 4G to 5G and 64gb to 256gb reasons. Neither of those phones missed a beat and everything I can find says this is probably the best replacement for my current phone under £200. Would consensus agree?

How does this compare to the redmi note 13 pro?
    Deleted041071960810's avatar
Look at a comparison. Main differences are ram and camera iirc. And to an extent build quality.
  24. AlistairS's avatar
Is this not going to be a replacement code for the one that expires today?

Is the pro version of this worth the extra?
    Deleted041071960810's avatar
Depends what you're looking for - if i's performance for gaming in particular, then maybe.

For day to day stuff, probably not. I don't game on mobiles beyond basic games like solitaire, so if I was buying, I'd probably buy the non-pro.

Good luck everyone who wants this phone. Couple of months ago I went on the site one minute past midnight for the poco f5 and it was sold out!!

Feel your pain bud, although for once I managed to snag the tab deal a few months back. Should have been nearly £300 but got it for £129 as literally purchased 12:02. So the deals are there to be had just have to be lucky I guess

So confused and undecided, help! I love my Xiaomi note 10 pro, but it's getting old now. I have looked around at other phones but not is giving me the wow like my phone did at the time. I don't want to go for a smaller screen size, I don't play games, I do like a decent camera and I need storage and NFC.
I was hoping the note 13 pro might drop down nearer this price. If I do change I would like a noticeable upgrade, or do I just carry on with the phone I am happy with, but realise I will need to change soon.
It does seem after my note 10 pro the phones that have come after from Xiaomi haven't been much of an upgrade?
    Matty_Davies's avatar
    Im also confused.
I have MI 10T and its been great for over 3 years.
Will i be disappointed with this?
Should i go back to Samsung, this or something else for £500.
    I don't play games.
Its all fairly confusing i feel your pain

I have one of these as a work phone. Battery is decent, and it's surprisingly light too. It made me upgrade my personal phone.

Literally just bought this for 229 🤢🤢🤢
  32. JerrardM's avatar
Most importantly, does it have a flashing notification light like my note 8 pro. The turd note 9 I'm forced to use at the moment doesn't have one.
    Cremoso99's avatar
Phones don't have the little LED for that anymore. Nothing phones have LEDs on the back. Xiaomi and other phones use edge lighting for notifications. Doesn't flash for very long though on my Xiaomi and haven't found a setting to change the duration like there is on Samsung phones. (edited)

Tried to purchase it via PayPal, but the UK wasn't listed, and the language was Swedish! Numerous countries on the list...bar England / Britain or the UK.

Please could someone explain how to purchase for £219? Thanks.

Anyone used the Xiaomi trade-in service? They're offering £33.90 for a well lived 128 X3 NFC... might take the plunge if its okay

Does anyone know if this has built in ads into the operating system? I had an Xiaomi phone before which was loaded with adverts but I'm not sure about this one, as it seems a very good deal. Thanks!
    Deleted041071960810's avatar
Probably - but they're usually easy enough to disable. Just do a google for xiaomi remove ads?
