The sliding connector isn’t the most sturdy on these and rma’ing them took an absolute age, I think I waited about 4 months for my replacement - but otherwise a solid stick as already mentioned ️

These are great. I got one so I could essily download films on my phone, then transfer the files to a USB stick to play back through the tv

Yep, you can do exactly that. Just FYI, data transfer speeds for films to copy over is about 20MB/s. Just in case you were expecting faster...

I've got one of these and they are flimsy. Just don't keep anything of any value on there and you'll be OK

if getting just to transfer the odd thing from a device to pc sure it's ok but daily use they seem to become slower speed wise with time and the slider on the side with wear becomes pretty useless with it becoming loose. it's a shame but this is the case. I've mentioned some of these issues on previous deals for this after getting mine. (edited)
