Good price. I’ve had a couple for about 3 years and all still working okay. I use them to control outdoor lighting so not a heavy load but they’ve been great so far. I wouldn’t use these for really high load appliances such as tumble dryer.

Thank you for the warning, what do you think about using it with an oil filled radiator like this one?

I ran a 3kW immersion heater off one of these all last winter. They get a little warm, but continued working just fine all winter. For any body interested there is also a NodeRed integration now available, and I am currently using one to run a 300W towel rail under NodeRed. I have picked 2 packs of 4 for £1 brand new from a car boot.

I use some of the energy monitoring ones, good app and much better than SmartLife app used by most of the other energy monitoring smart plugs.
I've never had an issue with TP/Tapo.

Do any of these things actually work for a sustained period with high loads? Running a gaming PC and a TV through one and the micro switch inevitably fuses together after a week or two and stops responding.

Interesting! I ran a fairly low power (max 300W) gaming PC through a P100 (this ^^^) for a couple of years with no issues.
I've got to say that I wouldn't plug a multiplug into one of these unless I was super confident in the multi-plug. I'd be more likely to plug the multiplug directly into the wall and put two of these into the multiplug then control them together.

It doesn’t state this, so I presume not, but I’m just gonna doublecheck… would this work with Apple home ? (edited)
