MicroSD card advice for. Mini 3 drone

I already have a Samsung evo select microsd 256 unopened from a previous deal. Looks spec wise to be good enough but having never used a drone I'm unsure if I'm missing anything. Questions i have are:

Os this card fine for video and burst pr rapid shot photography?
Is it better to have multiple smaller micro SD cards to hot swap and reduce risk of one fails?

It'll be perfect. I use the same on my M4P.

I download to my phone and/or controller after each flight so I have a backup.

Thanks. Means i can do some test flying this weekend without rushing around to buy another. I'll be backing up after each flight like yourself so will get at least one other card so I'm not short on an emergency. (edited)

I doubt you could fill a 256GB card on a single drone charge, so there will be unused space which makes for an ineffeicent storage solution. It'll work fine, however.
Personally I would use 32GB or 64GB cards and use a new one each flight (or at least have 2 and swap them over after backup) - that way if something happens I'm only losing that sessions footage...
32GB can store around 4 hours of video @ 1080p or about an hour @ 4K

Yeah. No way I'd fill that 256. Two 32s or more likely 64s are probably the way I'll go. 64s seems to be on offer more than 32s these days otherwise I'd just get the lower size as difficult to fill asi only have a single battery
