Walking Boots/Trainers Recommendations

Hi, looking to buy some but they all seem to have mixed reviews.

Anyone recommend some please with decent grip and waterproof if possible?

Thanks

I can recommend some at £30 but they aren't anywhere near as good as others would recommend at £300.

Are we talking walking boots to go hiking or higher waterproof trainers for walking about on the streets when its wet or snowy or will just standard trainers that are waterproof & have a good grip do.

Loads of differences to consider & I am just a general bod & not even an enthusiast.

And obviously, are you a man of a woman?

The mixed reviews will be because people haven't considered the above before choosing, or their expectations are too high or the sensitivity & sizes of their feet are not suited. You will always get mixed reviews.

Need to know what you plan on doing with them before this question can be answered properly
