About this deal

Seems like a good SSD with decent specs for anyone interested (3D NAND TLC, SLC Cache and plenty of positive reviews - only downside in my opinion is the PCIe3.0).

    I've just ordered a Fanxiang SN770 from ebay and had a look at the Fanxiang website to see if there were any firmware updates. There's a link to a firmware updater but my browser blocked the download and flagged it as being unsafe. I downloaded it to my phone and did an online virus scan and it's absolutely packed with malware!

    It's very likely to be a false positive in my opinion. You see this occasionally on these firmware updating tools. Personally, I'd run it in a VM and see what's going on.

    i wouldn't consider that it is "a down side to gen 3" as stated , as there is lots of motherboard's out there that have it why not put it in if its available , plus the price is a steal of a deal too hard not to pass up extra heat 🔥
