What’s the point of spec this good for it to not even be for gaming

    lenovo spec sheet here

Memory soldered to system board, no slots, dual-channel, not upgradable

    2x USB-C® 3.2 Gen 1 which means 1 lane maximum 5 Gbps aggregate bandwidth

fair play to lenovo, they do not try to hide information

John Lewis are selling this, but with 1080p resolution and 300nits, for £949.99.
That makes this a real bargain.

    I disagree.

The product you talk about is Lenovo 83DA001VUK which is entirely different.

John Lewis one has an OLED screen.
    Specs here and this link.

Good deal. I am considering AMD version of this with Oled screen and 32GB for around £140 more directly from Lenovo.

The screens are nice on these but Lenovo support is a nightmare 💀

After 3 months of telling them I didn't receive an item I gave up because they always took weeks to reply.

    I guess they won.

Just had to throw away a 4 year old ideapad because the soldered RAM failed. Wouldn't spend decent money on a laptop that has soldered memory now.

Another left centered trackpad- do these manufacturers understand that 90% of the population are right handed and of course Apple the World’s most successful laptop company have never made a single laptop which didn’t have a fully centered trackpad- go figure
